Cyclone Tam is expected to remain slow-moving to the west of the country today then fills tomorrow, meanwhile several associated fronts and troughs affecting much of New Zealand should move slowly eastward and gradually weaken. A southwest flow affects the country on Tuesday, becoming strong on Wednesday. A ridge of high pressure brings settled weather to much of the nation on Thursday.
