Area Description:

The Bay of Islands and inshore waters from Cape Brett to the Poor Knights Islands to Bream Head.

Situation:

A weak front continues to move across the North Island on Sunday, followed by a building ridge. High pressure covers most of Aotearoa/New Zealand on Monday while a weak front brings showers to Fiordland and Southland. On Tuesday, the country is dominated by a ridge of high pressure and a weakening southwest flow. High pressure continues across the country on Wednesday, however a front is expected to move onto the far south of the South Island late in the day. High pressures weaken over the North Island while the front continues to cross towards the northern part of the South Island on Thursday.
