Air NZ's new chief executive says the business is addictive and maybe "an insane way to make money".

Shares in logistics company Mainfreight have rallied after it revealed a 39pc annual profit leap.

Mainfreight said its annual profit of $65.7 million was up nearly 40pc on the previous year.
