Taupo's Greenlea Rescue helicopter was called by the Taupo Police to assist with the retrieval of a man who had been missing for several days, after he was found bluffed on a ledge near a waterfall. Searchers and LandSAR volunteers had made their was down a steep george and found the man at the "dead end" the helicopter was used to Longline the man out, with the help of the Land SAR teams.
