Candice also posted a photo of the couple's daughters - Ivy Mae, three, and Indi Rae, two - wearing hard hats at the building site.

"A couple of cuties on site this morning checking out the progress of their bedrooms," she captioned the photo on Instagram, also adding the hashtag '#dreamhome.'

The couple are building a $10 million mansion on a block of blue ribbon land overlooking Lurline Bay, which was purchased by David and Candice for $4 million in 2015, The Australian reported last December.

According to nine.com.au, the family of four are currently living in a nearby Maroubra home they purchased for $2.3 million in March 2017 as they build their dream five storey home.

Last month, an investigation by Cricket Australia alleged David had masterminded a plot to cheat during the Third test against South Africa.

He was handed a 12 month ban after the sporting body found David had instructed junior player Cameron Bancroft on how to tamper with a ball using sandpaper.

Cameron received a nine month ban while cricket captain Steve Smith was handed a year long sanction for his knowledge of the plot.

Prior to the ball tampering incident, David had been subjected to sledging which referred to Candice's infamous toilet sex romp with Sonny Bill Williams in 2007.

Candice, who was comforted by PR queen Roxy Jacenko at David's press conference, has since said she blames herself for what happened.

'I feel like it's all my fault and it's killing me - it's absolutely killing me,' she told The Daily Telegraph.
